Branch report Jan 2013

We have this year made three additions to our membership.
Broughton House members have been on two occasions our guests to our Buffet lunches on
Gallipoli and Minden. These occasions also was attended by the Civic Mayor of Tameside,
Councillor Brenda Warrington. Who in turn has invited our members to the Mayoral parlour.
This has now been followed by the New Incoming Mayor Joseph Kitchen who will be inaugurated in May
wishing to join our ranks. He will be accepted by us at our February meeting
Remembrance day was well covered by our presence by individuals to several Tameside parades
we are happy to say This also went well with Tameside when the primrose Hackle was in evidence
We lost a very dear lady member in december Stella Cains Served in the ATS in WWII in egypt
