This applies to all personnel under the age of 33 although exceptions to this can be made. Applicants who left for disciplinary or medical reasons are not eligible. I am a Police Officer based in Birmingham and spent
a good few years as a member of 5RRF and the West Midlands Regt. The West
Midlands Police are recruiting in the near future after not doing so for
about four years and I thought that it would be ideal if we could fill
some of these posts with those Fusiliers who may be facing redundancy.
I am in no way attached to the recruiting process and work on a Neighbourhood Policing Team but think that it the Force could do with the experience and skills that an ex soldier could bring.
The web link to the recruiting page is https://www.west-midlands.police.uk/wmprrecruit/index.asp but the jobs have not been placed on here yet, is it possible that you could pass this on or put the link on your website?
If people are interested in applying, I would be willing to give advice or meet with interested parties to give them an honest assessment of what the job is and help in applying but would prefer it if my details were not put in the public domain.
Also, is it possible that you could forward these details to the relevant part of Regimental team for their info.
